Philip Zielke works as the Scenic Studio Supervisor for Texas Christian University. Originally from Fort Worth, Philip graduated from Arlington Heights High School and from TCU with his B.F.A. in Lighting Design in 2006. He has been a member of the Trinity Shakespeare Festival artistic staff since its inception; he was the Scenic Studio Supervisor in their inaugural 2009 season, and he has served as the Festival’s Technical Director since 2010. He has also previously worked locally as the Technical Director for Kids Who Care and Amphibian Stage Productions, and as a carpenter for Stage West and Kids Who Care. During his years as a TCU student, Philip was the Master Electrician for over a dozen Theatre TCU productions. He and his wife, Jennifer and son Marcus, reside in Fort Worth and enjoy spending their free time with their chocolate Lab, Kona.
