Krista Scott (Francisca, Measure for Measure; Duchess of York, Richard III) returns to Trinity Shakespeare Festival, this time as an actor, having served as voice and text coach for its 2010 and 2011 seasons. Previous local stage roles include the Countess in All’s Well That Ends Well at Shakespeare Dallas “Complete Works”, Vivian Bearing in W;t (Column Award) and Dotty in Noises Off at Theatre Arlington, Inspector Goring in The Game’s Afoot at Water Tower Theatre, Bertha in Boeing, Boeing at Circle Theatre, and Marta in All This Intimacy and Kim in First Day of School at Amphibian Stage. Local directing credits include Rasheeda Speaking, Funnyman, I and You, Venus in Fur, Exit, and Pursued by a Bear at Circle Theatre, The King’s Face at Shakespeare Dallas, Mr. & Mrs. Fitch and I’ll Eat You Last at Amphibian Stage, The Heir Apparent at Stage West as well as the Theatre TCU productions of Measure for Measure, Three Sisters, and The Crucible, among others. She has served as voice/dialect coach for The Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C., Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare Dallas, Dallas Theater Center, Casa Mañana, Circle Theatre, and various regional theatres in Connecticut and New York. She is an associate professor of voice and acting at TCU.
