T. J. WALSH
DIRECTOR
T. J. Walsh (Director) has directed productions in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York as well as Texas. His Trinity Shakespeare productions include Twelfth Night, Hamlet and As You Like It. His work for the Festival has received numerous awards including the Dallas/Fort Worth Theatre Critics Forum award for Outstanding Direction. He is an Associate Professor of Theatre at TCU and earned a Master of Fine Arts in playwriting and a Ph.D. in Theatre History and Criticism from the University of Texas at Austin where he studied with Oscar Brockett. His area of research is in the history and theory of authorship. He has performed his solo play Pleading Infinity at the New York International Fringe Festival. He and his wife Kristine have four children.
